Welcome Back Old Friend

I have recently rediscovered a old friend, Digiguide I used to use it all the time before I went to university to remind me of when stuff I want to watch is on TV, however lack of TV meant that I wasn’t quite so enthralled by the possability of having it back. However if you want an electronic TV guide that reminds you of what you want to watch then it is about as good as it gets. ...

Forgot to Blog

All the mad hat stuff going on arround here and I have been forgetting to blog, that said before this weekend there was virtualy nothing to blog about! OK… will start from last Thursday, headed off to RiverCamp at about 10:30. For those that don’t know I am a Christian, I go to a church and count myself as part of an church organisation called Elim (Elim Foursquare Gospel Alliance technicaly) and RiverCamp is our yearly prayer, worship and teaching event. Jon and Carol Arnott were doing most of the teaching this year, which was great for the most part, even though I missed the teaching that you would get at Spring Harvest or similar. All in all it was a really great weekend I feel that RiverCamp is still very young and very much in its infancy but it is growning up fast, huge future ahead of us I am sure. ...

Congratulations Pete & Elkanah!

Congratulations Pete and Elkanah, welcome to the world of married life! I feel that I redeamed myself somewhat I delivered my best mans speech on Saturday with only a couple of stutters and fluff ups and got a fair few laughs in the right place: Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen – I would like to start by thanking Pete on behalf of the bridesmaids for his kind comments and echo the fact that they look wonderful and performed their role fantastically. ...

ISO Creator/Writer

Found a very useful tool called ISORecorder for creating ISOs from CDs, it works well with daemon tools, and burns ISO images created with nLite, pretty good replacement for the ISO Burning portions of Nero. If you wanted a burning tool similar to Nero with the ability to add individual files and directories to a CD Image take a look at the free CD Burner XP. On a totaly different topic, there is a heated discussion going on over here about the relative merrits and disadvantages of Wireless Mice over Wired Mice… if you feel like a bit of an expert feel free to join in!
